Nursery Ministry
The Nursery Ministry at SherLynd Baptist is led by Megan Propst
Women's Ministry
Our Women's Ministry is led by Tina Watts.
Kid's Ministry
Our Kid's Ministry, led by Abby Byrd, provides a safe and engaging environment for children to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. With dedicated teachers, fun activities, and age-appropriate lessons, we strive to nurture a love for God in the hearts of our youngest members.
Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is lead by Pastor Kyle Byrd. We strive to engage our middle school and high school students with exciting games, relatable lessons, and numerous service opportunities. Our goal is to foster an environment of fellowship in our teens and develop the next generation of Christians.
Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry is led by John Hundertmark. The Men's Ministry aims to provide events and opportunities for Christian men to come together in fellowship. Every year we aim to provide local work days for someone in need, get together for meals, and host events where we can strengthen our brotherhood. We hope to reach men in and outside the church and provide time to reflect on scripture. Our goal is to help Christian men mature in their faith while staying engaged with exciting events.
Awana
The Awana program is led by Jeannetta Addison at SherLynd Baptist. Awana is a worldwide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for ages 2 to 18. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background.
Church Service Opportunities
Here at SherLynd Baptist Church, we offer many opportunities to get connected. Some of the volunteer groups we have are our Praise and Worship Team, Building and Grounds, the Church Choir, and many more.
